Land Stewardship Centre works directly with individuals and organizations who own, have a vested interest in, or who use and are responsible for managing land and its associated natural resources. The organization offers several outreach programs and has produced a number of resources and tools that focus on supporting and developing stewardship efforts.


Donation or sales

Land Stewardship Centre focuses its efforts on the development of outreach programs, as well as tools and resources for stewards. It does not hold conservation easements, however as a charitable organization they are eligible to do split receipting or Eco-gifts. While they do not hold any property in easement form or fee simple, Land Stewardship Centre can hold property in the short-term until such a time that the property can be transferred to an active land trust.


Compensation

As a charitable organization, LSC can offer tax receipts, split receipt or assist with the Eco-gift program.
