Associated programs

FLT is not an entity of the MD but there is MD representation on the FLT Board and FLT is supportive of many of the conservation efforts of the MD.

Relationship with landowners

Landowners are visited annually for a monitoring visit and are invited to be involved in all FLT activities such as celebration and education events.

Support for landowners

Landowners with conservation easements are invited to contact FLT with any management questions and/or concerns. FLT endeavours to hold regular education sessions on a variety of land management and conservation topics. If there is a management activity (e.g. weed pulling, fence removal) that a crew of volunteers could help with, FLT could help coordinate the crew.
